Schools can be searched by name, location, academic quality or safety. Contact information is presented for each school listed, and parents are encouraged to reach out to the schools in which they’re interested.
How Would I Apply for a Private School Scholarship for My Kids?
Tax credit scholarships in Pennsylvania allow low-income families to receive financial support to help with private school tuition. A list of organizations offering the scholarships can be found here.
What Group Offers the Most Scholarships?
The Children’s Scholarship Fund of Philadelphia is the largest provider of tax credit scholarships in Philadelphia, currently offering scholarships to about 4,100 children enrolled at over 185 private and parochial schools. While the scholarships are need-based, meaning only low-income families are eligible, they also require a financial contribution from families themselves. The average recipient’s income (based on a family of four) is $29,000. Scholarship applications for the 2015-16 school year will be available starting November 1, 2014.
